Starting now, Peplink is adding SpeedFusion Cloud to their Care plans (EssentialCare, PrimeCare, SmartCare and TotalCare). This means any device under a Care plan can now leverage our global infrastructure and use SpeedFusion with just one click.
PrimeCare is a subscription that bundles InControl, Warranty, SpeedFusion license upgrades, and FusionHub Licenses into one subscription.
Peplink PrimeCare enables full SpeedFusion (Bonding, WAN Smoothing, Hot Failover), opening up deployment possibilities for any PrimeCare device. For example, the MAX Transit Duo will be upgraded with full SpeedFusion in order to enable faster file transfer and higher quality streaming from mobile locations. Use WAN Smoothing to deliver smooth and consistent videoconferencing, protecting it from packet loss.
All devices with Peplink PrimeCare enabled will have access to InControl: Peplink's SD-WAN management cloud. Use it to build and push complex network topologies to devices in minutes. On a single screen, review the health of your network and remotely make configuration changes as needed.
InControl makes enterprise deployments simple by centralising a number of important functions:
- Zero Touch Configurations and firmware updates in bulk
- Standardise VLAN, SSID, firewall, and outbound policies
- For access control and energy efficiency, apply schedules to SSID, Wi-Fi radios, and SD-Switch PoE ports.
Each PrimeCare subscription includes standard warranty coverage, so you can deploy your PrimeCare devices with peace of mind at an excellent price
Set up multiple FusionHubs in different locations and connect the nearest, as well as set up multiple FusionHubs for redundancy. All without paying extra.
If you look at the silver label underneath your device, the SKU of your product will have a -PRM suffix. Soon, PrimeCare status will also be visible on InControl, stay tuned!
The previous subscription services (InControl Subscription, FusionHub Licenses, Warranty) are still available for non-PrimeCare devices. PrimeCare devices will need to be in PrimeCare in order to use InControl.
No, they are not interchangeable.
No, if a device is on PrimeCare, it automatically has access to all SpeedFusion functionality. As long as the device remains in PrimeCare, SpeedFusion functionality will remain.
Yes you can, PrimeCare devices will not count towards the peer limit of any FusionHub that it is connected to. For example, a FusionHub 20 normally supports up to 20 peers. This is particularly useful for connecting numerous sites that require little bandwidth such as PoS terminals.
If a PrimeCare device is not subscribed to PrimeCare, it will maintain networking functionality and remain configurable via the on-device Web UI. InControl access, FusionHub licenses, and PrimeCare software features such as SpeedFusion Bonding will be disabled. All other functionality will remain unaffected.
